You’re invited! Let’s celebrate and honor Dr. B. K. Lim serving Nokomis and area for 30 years!
To all residents of Nokomis and the surrounding communities:
You are cordially invited to celebrate and honor Dr. B. K. Lim serving Nokomis and surrounding area for 30 years, as of this July 2024. Due to summer holidays, we thought it best to have the celebration on June 24, 2024 at the Nokomis Recreation Centre from 2-4pm with coffee, tea, juice and cake served.
We will start with a short opening speech from Nokomis Mayor, David Mark, at 2:15pm and will have a few appreciation speeches to follow.
We are hoping for a big turnout to celebrate, as we all know how difficult it is to get a doctor to work in rural areas and we hope Dr. Lim continues to serve the Nokomis and surrounding areas for a very long time.

I was happy to hear Dr. Lim's event was a success and all in attendance were happy to celebrate with Dr. Lim in marking his 30 years of practice at the Nokomis Health Centre. Dr. Lim and the practice he has built, over the last 30 years, are a testament to his hard work, dedication, and determination. The Town of Nokomis and the thousands of patients that seek his care are all better and heathier for his care! Thanks to Lisa Biccum and all the volunteers that helped organize and deliver this important community event recognizing Dr. Lim and his achievements. All the best and here's to a bright future!
