Volunteer Opportunities

Nokomis Ladies Auxiliary

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to fundraising and accepting donations to support initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents at the Nokomis Health Centre. While we do not provide assistance to individual community members, our focus is on contributing to meaningful improvements within the facility.

Through our efforts, we have helped fund important items and services such as newspaper subscriptions, a ceiling track lift, and mobility equipment including wheelchairs and Broda chairs. We also organize music and entertainment to enrich the daily experiences of residents and create a more engaging, comfortable environment.

Our fundraising activities throughout the year include a Mother’s Day Tea in May, a Fall Fair featuring local vendors, and a Christmas Community Board.

We are proud to support the Nokomis Health Centre and remain committed to enhancing the care and comfort of its residents.
